Rebel Rampage/featuring Dr. Maddvibe Angelo Moore- Fishbone 2019
Pre-Namm Show Viper Room Hollywood
Have you ever had a song repeat itself over and over in your head, well that’s what happened when 15 Minutes the Show stopped by for the pre-Namm showing at the Viper room for the band, Rebel Rampage. Their latest single,” Red Star”, featuring Dr. Maddvibe’s Fishbone, is exactly what the doctor ordered. It has strength and power and is ferocious in its delivery. Born on January 17, 2017 the day after Trump’s inauguration Rebel believes in free speech and all that it encompasses. Chicago born yet internationally experienced, Graham Czach, Rebel’s front mantalked to us very candidly giving a full range of feelings and democratic truths that are as satisfactory as they are accurate. Several Pre-Namm invites who rocked the house included Dotrin, Aboleth and Angelo Moore’ Dr. Maddvibe.
Rebel kindly and adamantly define what they mean by humanistic rights which include women, children, black, white and anyone else who differs in perspective from the self-righteous accord of the established regime. Rebel’s organic blend of metal, funk and punk are sure to arouse any crowd. Their high-performance energy and need to feed information to those waiting to receive it is unmatched.
We took the opportunity to share some of the band’s progressive thoughts and advise on what we can all do to ensure that we stay informed, stay empowered and stay safe. Their insanity is about as real as it can get when it comes to laying down the law about what an unjust system will do to breakdown its most devoted followers.
In partnering with ACLU on the release of their debut album, coined, “Divided We Fall”, in October 2018 inspired media outlets to seek out Rebel awarding them massive tributes for a well-done production. The album recorded at iconic, Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree, embodies the spirit of those like owner, Dave Catching ( Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age) and engineer, Mojave, Jon Russo, places Rebel well onto the forefront of visibility garnering recognition by top media outlets such as, Buzzbands, Loudwire , idobi radio and Pure Grain Audio known to have strong allegiance with the band and their mission. Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) and Angelo Moore (Fishbone) guest star on tracks, Red Star and I am The Power whose vocals tracked at Nashville’s Attic Recording, engineered by Greg Magers (Lupe Fiasco, Umpfrey’s McGee). Mixer and Grammy award winner, Adam Kasper (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden) made good use of Studio X in Seattle making way for mastering by Lurssen Mastering in Burbank completed by Grammy award winner, Reuben Cohen.
Additionally, the band was named artist of the month by Deli Magazine of Los Angeles. Endorsed by global recognized brands, D’Addario, Guild, Vox/Blackstar Amps Paiste Cymbals and Eden Bass Amps the bands willingness to stay open and fired up by all who take interest is admirable.
The band will appear live at NAMM January 24-January 27 offering prizes, giveaways and a cool line up of surprise guest set to drop by.
