Natascha Hopkins, Entrepreneur, Actor, Producer, Stunt Double for Halle, Kerry and Zoe is All That and Capo-Nata

In a world that is hell bent on identifying its citizens by color, label, quantity and size, entrepreneur, actor, producer and stunt double, Natascha Hopkins stands comfortably outside of the box.

With over 13 years in a craft that is truly hand made this bright young woman refuses to allow herself to be put in a mold. As a professional stunt double, actor and producer, Hopkins leaves an indelible mark on culture and how function is just as important as daily practice. Discipline is at the top of a list of favorite words noted in her palette of well-versed conversations.  She is a defined and polished talent that goes far beyond the ability to simply look beautiful.

Rigorous training is necessary as preparation for her roles as a stunt double to the stars which include Halle Berry on Extant, Kerry Washington in Scandal and Django Unchained, Jada Pinkett Smith in Gotham and Zoe Kravitz in Mad Max, Fury Road and the Divergent Series.

The German born 5’3” beauty also stunt doubled in Straight Outta Compton and Spiderman 3.

Her studies at El Paso’s Texas Women’s University laid the ground work for the difficult task which lay ahead.  

Her natural ability to combine her skills as a stunt double and actor in the recent film “Kiss Kiss” makes her a powerful contender in her role as “Kiss” and places her amongst those selected for eyeing by the guardians of Hollywood’s elite circle of acceptance. The film “Kiss Kiss”, directed by David King is on Itunes, Pay Per View, ‘Kiss Kiss’ is set to open at the Laemmle Fine Arts Center in Beverly Hills, and will also be distributed on VOD platforms nationwide. The theatrical and digital release will be followed by a DVD release on May 14 according to ShockYa in an article written by Karen Benardello.

The movie is written, directed and produced by Dallas King. In addition to Hopkins, it also stars Robert Wagner, Nathalia Castellon, Tamra Dae, Janey B, Kyle Rae and Kiersten Hall.

Winner of numerous SAG awards, Natascha continues to remain humble and can say that she got it honestly by way of having two very supportive parents. Her climb upward in an industry that can be known to at times entrap through the acute denial of certain types of artist is impressive. After years of hard and dutiful work Natascha has rightfully gained access to Hollywood’s golden gates and is clearly becoming one of the industry’s most beloved talents.  

Well-traveled it’s no wonder in talking to Natascha one can see that her delivery and strong command of how to talk about and describe about what she does is quite elegant. With her whole some blend of wit and talent Natascha’s entrepreneurial spirit makes for a successful career in both acting and stunting. We talked about what the transition is like going from stunt double and actor and back to herself. Natascha said is a huge difference wherein acting requires concentration and focus on a character. When being a stunt double energy is focused and then becomes physical Hopkins noted. There is a given respect that comes with the territory of stunting we find each other and offer one another support. There is no competition as we have all worked in jobs that we have all excelled at.  Unlike most designers who start out Natascha was fortunate enough to receive two utility patents for the sportswear design of her lean body sports bra. As if that were not brilliant enough her discovery of the sports bra led her to design an integrated waist trimmer. So, it should come as no surprise that she co-founded the sportswear line, Capo-Nata which means “born leader” in Italian.

Natascha is presently working on a film project she has yet to disclose, hiring writer, Kelsey Egan to help to transfer her inner passion onto pen and paper. Breathing life into an idea.  Stunt doubling is a talent that only few accomplish and one that is never for the timid.

Natascha Hopkins is an unstoppable force who independently sets her own guidelines and makes her own rules to play a game that she is already primed up to win.
