Up-Front and Personal with Leading UFO Researcher and Dark Matters Show Host Don Ecker

And so, I imagine one could say that the history and research of UFO and Extraterrestrials is perhaps as old as time itself. Dark Matters Radio Show host and renowned UFO researcher, Don Ecker shared his unbelievable experiences with close encounters of all kinds. A former police officer and military NCO Don recalls going out on his first assignment to probe and investigate the mutilations of two cows. Upon arriving he found the animal’s carcasses to be like none other he had ever witnessed. Both cows had their inner organs removed and were completely drained of all body fluids. This spiked Ecker’s interest and motivated his digging further into the situation. He came to find out that the mutilations happened while a family of four and a dog lodged inside of their home located on the property of the mutilation never saw or heard anything. Back then Radio Shack was the place that everyone He then discovered, Compuserve which led him to a file called, MJ-12.  It was project MJ-12 that opened the door to Don’s incredible history of UFO and Extraterrestrial research.  Most don’t know that there is a difference in a UFO and an Extraterrestrial or ET.

A UFO or unidentifiable flying object is an object that flies in the sky but cannot readily be identified unlike an extraterrestrial which is something that is of or from outside the earth or it’s atmosphere.  

During the 50’s and 60’s considered to be the Godfather of UFO Research, Major, Donald Keyhoe a USMC retiree headed up NICAP also known as the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena. Professor Stan McDaniel pressured NASA to re-photograph the Cydonia region of Mars and it was also in 1961 that the Brookings Institution prepared a NASA run report called, “Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs”. The intensive investigation following Ecker’s discovery should in fact resolve all doubts that these claims are all true and accounted for. Bill Moore and Jaime Shandera are credited with the discovery of the MJ-12 Papers, John Lear, Stanton Friedman and Dr. Bruce Macabee are noted as prominent leaders in the field as well. Ecker who considers Donald Keyhoe to be the greatest researcher in the field of UFO phenomena to date.

The John Lear hypothesis was the most popular story of the times and ran neck in neck with controversy surrounding the now discovered MJ-12 papers. I am forever intrigued by UFO research which clearly notes the connection to the John F. Kennedy Assassination, the Moon and Mars Explorations, the Apollo Program, the manned Nasa Shuttle program, Remote Viewing, HIV-Aids alien abductions and the stealing of human fetuses.

Upon receiving a huge Fed Ex box chocked full of VHS taped UFO Specials, video clips from Japan specifically one on a Japanese astronomer who caught on film images of a disc like object hovering above the Lunar surface Ecker’s next move came as no surprise and he was off to Las Vegas to visit Lear at his home.

The highlight of Ecker’s visiting the Vegas area was his attending a dinner hosted by the Former Intelligence Agents organization. At the dinner Zapruder Film showed a video which looked like the secret service driver turned to fire a single head shot into John, F. Kennedy. Not quite convinced of Lear’s claims Ecker also saw the same video in Lear’s home. He later cane to find out that the video came from the JFK researcher, Lars Hansson. There was FUFOR ( funds for the research of UFO’s) and the wonderful world of UFO research.

Meanwhile, Ecker began to do radio around the subject in 1991 broadcasting UFO’s Tonite until 1996. His guest have been some of the finest in the field including John Keel, Steve Schiff, Zecharia Sitchin and the list goes on. A Team’s actor, Dwight Schultz teamed up with Ecker after finding out that both had interest in the study and research of UFO’s and their beliefs in politics were similar.

The collaboration between the two would continue eventually leading producer, Jeff Floro, Ecker and Schultz to appearances in the LA Times, CNN, the Sci-Fi Channel and Larry King with a peculiar incident on Kings show involving politician Pat Buchanan, After questioning Ecker extensively on the subject and flat out denying that the US government knew back in the 40’s Buchanan suddenly ran out of time. That incident led Ecker to aggressively seek out like minds and digital radio giving him a powerful platform engaging audiences around the globe.

Don Ecker and wife Vicky have had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people since starting of world-reknowned, UFO Magazine. Ecker has become world famous in his thirty years of research in the UFO phenomenon field. He continues to discover various ways to maintain ongoing investigations of UFO’s and extraterrestrials. His extensive knowledge on the subject and life long pledge to go where no other radio host/researcher has gone before is just as strong now as it was many years ago.

His contribution to the field is invaluable and is so profoundly important that it would take years to know the multitude the impact it has had on our society and the planet earth.
