At first glance there may appear to be no similarities in make-up and painting as an art, however upon a closer look the two are very similar. Just as a painter depends on light, contrast, tone and color, so does a makeup artist. Using various brushes of different sizes, both make-up artist and painter are motivated and equally enthused by seeing the results of often long hours of work come to fruition in a piece. When Sonia is with a client, with their permission she then introduces them to her technique taught to her by mediation teacher, Ilchi Lee of El Salvador. Sonia being impressed by the causes that Ilchi stands for and his ability to untie and create harmony teaching disadvantaged and underprivileged youth the arts plans to follow in his footsteps and do something for humanity and the planet earth. His program excels in teaching the arts of music, painting, writing and other skills that allow the young to have free expression. No matter what Sonia does for the earth, what she does to the faces of celebrities with her hands makes for a great legacy.. Sonia is a Leo and true to her Sun sign she is in entertainment and works with celebrities. She is proud and regal with an extensive list of credits leading the way to a very successful career. The Iconic, abstract expressionist and collagist, Ms. Lee Krasner who appears to be a true Scorpio is a treat on any palette for makeup or art with her boldness of tendencies that could be felt and seen even in her youth. She stood among men who had limited beliefs yet continued her plight, which led her to break the mold. Sonia like Krasner broke the mold of being a Korean native with no skills at speaking English. Her natural intuition using light, a variety of shades and matching tones for makeup is the very reason that the Exclusive Artist Management represent her. Because men may have a different palette, Sonia is always open to sharing her inner self when applying their makeup and allows her special skills to act as a backup to what she feels inside. A force to be reckoned with Lee Krasner, wife to the famous father of abstract drippings, knew nothing of how to take what she felt inside and put it on canvas. She just did it. A heavyweight Krasner was one of few women who had a retrospective show in the Museum of Modern Art/ Krasner transitioned out of figurative imaging depicted in human anatomy to cubism and neo-cubism finally fully engaging in abstract expressionism after meeting and becoming the wife of the father of famed abstract expressionist Jackson Pollock. Very affected by post-impressionism, she began learning the components of composition, theory and technique. After taking classes from Hans Hoffman in 1937, which gave her a modern approach to nudes and still life. Krasner took an interest in fauvism as well, holding brightly colored pigment on white backgrounds, Krasner fostered her own career being a waitress but left the job because of the Great Depression. Joining the Works Progress Administration’s Federal Art Project in the year of 1935. From the late 1930s-early 1940s Krasner created Gouache sketches. With Scorpio as a birth sign, the internal pain suffered by Krasner became the one driving force and impetus that inspired her brilliant body of work. The severity of her critical nature influenced Krasner to rip apart her work and use the pieces to create extravagant collages. Little Images a series made from 1946 to 1949 classified as a mosaic heiroglyphs all dependent on the styling of the image. Her use of the drip technique believed by critics to be a reinterpretation of Pollock’s work. It could not have been easy on Krasner having Pollock as a husband with a drinking problem, although he had no problem channeling his talent. Krasner’s best work was always in her own brand of expression, not in the shadow of her training. Krasner as all Scorpios like the Phoenix do rise from ashes crushed to the ground.
