When I say Sam, you say Dever, SAM, DEVER, SAM, DEVER. It is very encouraging to hear someone’s story—of how they helped others find a way to tell their story. Whew!! Now that that’s over with, right in step with Pat Boone and Johnny Mathis of the new world, actor, artist, and inspirational speaker, Sam Dever presents a cool hipster look that is undeniably solid. A look that if someone should choose to stare at Sam, they would be staring straight into the warm face of confidence. He started in the humble city of Cranston, Illinois, then left to move to Tucson, Arizona. The state of Arizona has always held a certain fascination for its wonderful essence. Its beautiful countryside and high vibrations keep the world around it safe and peaceful. There is no surprise that Sam found a sense of creative comfort there. After a short stay in Tucson, his inner calling led him to Las Vegas. In Vegas, he found a grounding force and open space to be creative and hone his many talents. The focus was there. The intention to change direction and the willingness to delve heart-first into the unknown were the correct mindsets that he needed. His attitude was fierce as he exposed his authentic self more during speaking engagements and performances. His range was boundless. It can’t be easy to be a producer, actor, artist, and motivational speaker all at once. Imagine having all of those emotional feelings surface to find a safe outlet so that they can let go. No wonder Sam inspires others so easily. I asked how a multi-talent like himself maintains a balanced daily life. He said that a life-changing accident and the subsequent substantial injuries forced a long, hard look at himself during his recovery. He recognized that he wasn’t true to his dreams. He went back to the basics: acting, producing, and speaking. He had to come up with a way of how to help himself and motivate others to move forward and advance their dreams too. The idea of having a podcast came to mind. And BOOM, “The Sam Dever Podcast,” was born. As the producer and founder of his podcast, Sam keeps it close to home, helping others to manifest their best selves and teaching specific techniques to ensure that their dreams can come true.
